In the 3rd minute, PICCOLE PESTI's Ettore Varglien dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. SITIO CITY's Zé Gato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save SITIO CITY from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, PICCOLE PESTI's Ettore Varglien got a free kick in the 10th minute. PICCOLE PESTI's attentive Iliyan Hadzhistefanov managed to snatch the ball when Kajetan Paulista made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Carlos Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Carlos Garcia notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon. Miguel Orlondon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of PICCOLE PESTI booed when SITIO CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubim Jordão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Varglien came free, but Zé Gato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Miguel Orlondon managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when SITIO CITY's Carlos Garcia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carlos Garcia had several of the PICCOLE PESTI's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Miguel Orlondon as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 57 minutes, Kajetan Paulista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SITIO CITY and the PICCOLE PESTI players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SITIO CITY's Kajetan Paulista got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Ettore Varglien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Gato was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. With a little luck, PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon got control of the ball when Carlos Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute Amedeo Giacomini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Gato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Carvalho in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Orlondon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luís Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the SITIO CITY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Carvalho couldn't finish the play. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.
All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was PICCOLE PESTI's Bernardino Vedillo that got to make the kick off. If Luís Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Carvalho in the 100th minute of play. After 105 minutes PICCOLE PESTI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabio Onbera who took care of the corner kick. Miguel Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Carvalho in the 108th minute of play. Zé Gato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Giacomini in the 110th minute of play. Iliyan Hadzhistefanov made in the 112th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kasey Dawson however managed to control. After 114 minutes of play, SITIO CITY's Luís Carvalho made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Orlondon was left in no man's land by his defense there!
