Spectators: 591 (Terracing: 444, Seating: 136, VIP seats: 11) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michel Legdeur started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Legdeur got free with Marcus Deacon in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Michel Legdeur sped through Mayo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Deacon. Marcus Deacon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Legdeur in the 11th minute. When Mayo's Steve Oliver in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Armageddon's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Mayo's goalkeeper Marcus Deacon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Legdeur. Marcus Deacon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Legdeur in the 24th minute of the match. When Armageddon's Michel Legdeur, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Armageddon. Michel Legdeur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Legdeur got free with Marcus Deacon in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Legdeur in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Deacon saved Mayo from getting behind. Marcus Deacon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Kööp, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Michel Legdeurs short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Marcus Deacon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Michel Legdeur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Deacon was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Will Porter in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Armageddon's Inocencio Hondo. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Armageddon made a substitution. Virgil Gentenaar replaced Gunnar Westerstrand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Legdeur in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Deacon saved Mayo from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnnie Osbourn in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marko Ööpik saved Armageddon from getting behind. Marcus Deacon came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Armageddon's Michel Legdeur. But to his dismay, Michel Legdeur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 61st minute Olaf Kööp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Deacon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Steve Oliver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Oliver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Legdeur came free, but Marcus Deacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steve Oliver received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marko Ööpik came out and tried to block the shot, but Steve Oliver slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 76th minute. Mayo's Evelio Goren was substituted for Will Porter. Glyn Smith made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Patrick Robins immediately put the ball in play. If William Symons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steve Oliver in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marko Ööpik saved Armageddon from getting behind. Mayo's Marcus Deacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Legdeur in the 90th minute of play. If Raik İhsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Deacon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raik İhsan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Deacon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raik İhsan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Mayo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Armageddon.
