In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind JK Kurevere's goalkeeper Virgilio Mateus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, FK Mazda Svidník's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Beninda came free, but Stanislav Saktor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Dawid Beninda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Saktor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matúš Závodský came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Virgilio Mateus could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Golo Strojek managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Mazda Svidník's supporters rose to their feet, but Golo Strojek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Mateus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgilio Mateus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matúš Závodský in the 19th minute. FK Mazda Svidník's Ondrej Velits managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Märten Viilukas in the 41 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Strojek in the 41st minute of play forced JK Kurevere's goalkeeper Virgilio Mateus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dawid Beninda to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matúš Závodský in the 53rd minute of play forced JK Kurevere's goalkeeper Virgilio Mateus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JK Kurevere's Gert Arumäe was substituted for Haarald Peelmann. Märten Viilukas made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dawid Beninda immediately put the ball in play. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Matúš Závodský made the kick off and play began. FK Mazda Svidník's Stanislav Saktor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einar Reisalu in the 106th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Reisalu in the 110th minute of play forced FK Mazda Svidník's goalkeeper Stanislav Saktor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Golo Strojek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virgilio Mateus came out and tried to block the shot, but Golo Strojek slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 112th minute. FK Mazda Svidník were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of JK Kurevere for a fine match.
