An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Díaz in the 25th minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Joaquim Paredes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Domingues. Błαck Bułłs MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Paredes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 30 played minutes Gremio Viana got a freekick which was hit by Albi Koka. Tony Påk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Luís Fernando Díaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gremio Viana's attentive Amado Melo managed to snatch the ball when Jurand Nowakowski made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Jordan Henderson sped through Gremio Viana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Fiúza. When Jordan Henderson fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Błαck Bułłs MZ's protests and gave Jordan Henderson a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Błαck Bułłs MZ's Näcäfqulu Tøp was substituted for Luís Fernando Díaz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Manex to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Joaquim Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Manex got free with Samuel Fiúza in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Gremio Viana's Higino Queirós got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Christiano Moura sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Samuel Fiúza threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Christiano Moura this time. Ulises Manex could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Samuel Fiúza made a huge save. If Ulises Manex had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Gremio Viana getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tony Påk hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes Gremio Viana got a freekick which was hit by Tony Påk. After having played for 79 minutes, Näcäfqulu Tøp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Błαck Bułłs MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Näcäfqulu Tøp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caetano Carioca came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Samuel Fiúza could save by the left post. In the 84th match minute, Błαck Bułłs MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Nowakowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Błαck Bułłs MZ's Caetano Carioca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 90th minute, Błαck Bułłs MZ's Jordan Henderson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Fiúza. Samuel Fiúza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Samuel Fiúza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
