Santos Rallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to AS Pikachuzim getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sílvio Caca-Rato hit a great ball. Thommy Jadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 22nd minute of the match. Thommy Jadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Bon Čáp made a precise shot to the right of Hristofor Borchev. AS Pikachuzim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some careless play in the AS Pikachuzim defense, Bon Čáp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hristofor Borchev. The AS Pikachuzim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hristofor Borchev should have stopped the shot. Ronaldinho Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thommy Jadis having to make a save. Thommy Jadis made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ronaldinho Fenomeno sent off a good shot on target. If Bon Čáp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44thth minute of the game Ronaldinho Fenomeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MINEIROS's Thommy Jadis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bon Čáp in the 48th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Hristofor Borchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bon Čáp to make the kick off. Hristofor Borchev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hao Zhan Ping in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thommy Jadis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bon Čáp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hristofor Borchev having to make a save. AS Pikachuzim's Hristofor Borchev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save AS Pikachuzim from getting a goal against them. AS Pikachuzim's Arif Oğuz Semdin was substituted for Ronaldinho Fenomeno. MINEIROS made a substitution. Humberto Severo replaced Clóvis Rezende. Thommy Jadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pasha Datsiuk in the 88th minute of play. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. AS Pikachuzim's Arif Oğuz Semdin started the play with the initial kick off. In the 103rd minute, Hao Zhan Ping got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Mário Maradona to make the kick off. With a little luck, AS Pikachuzim's Hristofor Borchev got control of the ball when Mário Maradona tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Oğuz Semdin in the 118th minute of play forced MINEIROS's goalkeeper Thommy Jadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 120th minute the ball was on its way in behind AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Hristofor Borchev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 120 minutes into the match, Mário Maradona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hristofor Borchev. AS Pikachuzim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mário Maradona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MINEIROS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
