William Westelinx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgut Talha having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, William Westelinx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Turgut Talha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Sergen Şahbender got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Vacid Nefer came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
