Juan Carlos Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Fredriksson in the 87th minute of play forced SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper Marco Silvestri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Augusto Bevilacqua notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez. Juan Carlos Alvarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
For all the effort they put into the match, the Marlin FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SPALLETTE RETURNS.
