In the 21st minute ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ were awarded a corner. 倪国庭 went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Elmer von Platen to fire away a dangerous shot which Jerônimo da Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ferdinand Johnson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atacan Rahim's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Santiago Cachorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo da Cunha having to interfere. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Tholsted in the 26th minute of play. Ferdinand Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atacan Rahim in the 31st minute of the match. Jerônimo da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy Tholsted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, one of Elite™- FC Galácticos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elite™- FC Galácticos. The referee gave ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arnulfo Valencia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha. 1-2. 45 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elite™- FC Galácticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ the free kick. In the 45th minute, Luiz Paulo Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teddy Tholsted to strike the kick off in the second half. Jerônimo da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy Tholsted, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's zone, Nikos Kladogennis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Johnson came out of the goal and Nikos Kladogennis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Elite™- FC Galácticos defense, Teddy Tholsted kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerônimo da Cunha. The Elite™- FC Galácticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerônimo da Cunha should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Valencia in the 68th minute of play forced Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Fabian Zabrzeski was substituted for Nikos Kladogennis. Fabian Zabrzeski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ferdinand Johnson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Tholsted in the 78th minute of play. Ferdinand Johnson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zachary Kosmatka showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 81 minute of play. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Artal Burualla was substituted for Xuaco Oñaederra. If Artal Burualla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Cosme Dighero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinand Johnson narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The Elite™- FC Galácticos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
