Işık Günay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Leu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barrilete Cósmico FC's zone, Viorel Leu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Işık Günay came out of the goal and Viorel Leu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Barrilete Cósmico FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gilbert Nalaskowski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 范升扬 scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Chindriș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Nicasio Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Viorel Leu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Işık Günay having to make a save. Işık Günay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viorel Leu in the 34th minute. Fabian Tximitx made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marat Beroshvili immediately put the ball in play. Aron Chindriș came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrilete Cósmico FC's Nestor Eguntsenti. But to his dismay, Nestor Eguntsenti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Işık Günay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marat Beroshvili in the 53rd minute of play. Işık Günay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Leu in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Narcis Răcănel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Işık Günay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Alonzo Caton was substituted for Nicasio Ostargi. In the 71st match minute, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viorel Leu to maneuver through the defense. Ştefan Vlădoiu made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marat Beroshvili immediately put the ball in play. 76 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Leu came free, but Işık Günay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Paulino Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Işık Günay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score was 2-2 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

Pankracy Siwy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Işık Günay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. But to his dismay, Hortêncio Coutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barrilete Cósmico FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
