The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Vaggelis Pavlidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Alişan Bağışhan in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vęgoria Team's Szczepan Fiszer. Ademar Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Demesio in the 15th minute of the match. Vęgoria Team's Bogdan Pilarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Gang in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 24th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pawel Wojtala made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vaggelis Pavlidis however managed to control. Ademar Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 35th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Bogdan Pilarski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bogdan Pilarski made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jiang Gang sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jiang Gang to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Valter Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaggelis Pavlidis scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademar Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goal looked a bit too open when Szczepan Fiszer came free, but Ademar Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademar Azevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vaggelis Pavlidis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 82 minute of play. Vęgoria Team's Roman Sierocki was substituted for Vaggelis Pavlidis. Tomás Portugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bogdan Pilarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Vęgoria Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szczepan Fiszer to maneuver through the defense.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vęgoria Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
