The TEAMGEIST Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, TEAMGEIST Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Kuoppala came free, but Zachariasz Czarnecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariasz Czarnecki came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester United FC's Valdemar Kuoppala. But to his dismay, Valdemar Kuoppala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alfred Laulaja hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexis Kalafatidis got free with Edwin van der Sar in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambe Conchas in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match, Mouritz Klange tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edwin van der Sar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Klement Tarka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Michna, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Kuoppala in the 44th minute of play forced TEAMGEIST Football Club's goalkeeper Zachariasz Czarnecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Manchester United FC's Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Benedykt Michna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedykt Michna hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lambe Conchas to make the kick off. Zachariasz Czarnecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zachariasz Czarnecki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davide Beckham's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Michna, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Manchester United FC's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Kalafatidis in the 65th minute of play.
