After a rather tough play, Lekko Spoceni's Desiderio Ibañez got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Romulo Casado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Mikolaj Szotek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 55th minute of the match River Plate got a corner. Lekko Spoceni's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleuterio Efraim ran over to the corner to take the kick. River Plate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eleuterio Efraim in the 56th minute. River Plate made a substitution. Henrikh Vartanyan replaced Mauricio Tiniebra.
