FC Melon's Ján Tuleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Smith in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, FC Melon's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Smith came free, but Ján Tuleja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Carlos Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Holub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Marcos Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Tuleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Beto de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Holub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Andrade having to interfere. Krakaca Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ján Tuleja made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Fernandes got free with Ján Tuleja in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krakaca Neto in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ján Tuleja saved FC Melon from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Smith in the 24th minute of play forced FC Melon's goalkeeper Ján Tuleja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Beto Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Tuleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Tomáš Guzy managed to get in a good position for a shot.
