Gaspar Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Paranhos Ariranha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Reis came free, but Gaspar Gilesindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Artan Topalovski in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paranhos Ariranha FC's João Francisco Fontes. Joaquim Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander McCuag in the 14th minute of play forced Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Gilesindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Joaquim Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Mattos in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Flávio Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Clube Sporting Navuo's Joaquim Pombal got control of the ball when Cristóvão Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquim Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Mattos's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Cristóvão Mattos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquim Pombal came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristóvão Mattos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 40th minute. Joaquim Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Mattos in the 44th minute of play. The throw-in from Gabriel Batistuta in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cai Yi Guo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Toninho Guerreiro got free with Gaspar Gilesindo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Cristóvão Mattos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paranhos Ariranha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Sporting Navuo's goalkeeper Joaquim Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Josué Ferreira in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paranhos Ariranha FC's Abel Maia. After 61st play minutes Cristóvão Mattos shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Joaquim Pombal and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Mattos in the 68th minute of play forced Clube Sporting Navuo's goalkeeper Joaquim Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Clube Sporting Navuo getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Josué Ferreira hit a great ball. Clube Sporting Navuo made a substitution. Ezequiel Capixaba replaced Josué Ferreira. The supporters of Paranhos Ariranha FC booed when Clube Sporting Navuo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Pombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Alexander McCuag could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Gaspar Gilesindo however easily saved by the left post. In the 79th minute Flávio Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cristóvão Mattos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquim Pombal was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 83rd match minute, Paranhos Ariranha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí Dias to maneuver through the defense. Clube Sporting Navuo's Celso Vander was substituted for Gabriel Batistuta. In the 84th minute, Arí Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Mattos might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Pombal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão Mattos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute Cristóvão Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Ezequiel Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Pombal came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Paranhos Ariranha FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Clube Sporting Navuo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
