Fabian Lucescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Claretiano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurinho Mendonça made a kick off. Maurinho Mendonça scored 0-5 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Lucescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's Maurinho Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Lucescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Harkaitz Xavalera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Chevaliers FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marius Geamănu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 67th minute of play forced Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Fabian Lucescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiadoro Folguera charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiadoro Folguera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chevaliers FC booed when Claretiano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiadoro Folguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claretiano FC made a substitution. Benigno Viñal replaced Norino Tostado. Tiadoro Folguera kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Chevaliers FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marius Geamănu hit a great ball. Claretiano FC's Gelacio Salceda was substituted for Qu Lei Chang. After a rather tough play, Chevaliers FC's Marius Geamănu got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, one of Chevaliers FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chevaliers FC. 83 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Berceanu came free, but Birila Graña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mihnea Berceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Maurinho Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Claretiano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Mendonça couldn't finish the play.
