After 3 minutes of play, Arrows Academy FC's Fabricio Enekoitz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Hanot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Estebe in the 9th minute of play. Enrique Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Enekoitz in the 16th minute of play. Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Arrows Academy FC from getting a goal against them. Enrique Hanot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Larry Ferrell's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Enrique Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry Ferrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Ferrell in the 24th minute of play. Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Arrows Academy FC from getting a goal against them. Ged Nightingale made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Reynaldo Estebe sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Ferrell in the 31st minute of play forced Nantwich's goalkeeper Enrique Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Nantwich's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Piechna came free, but Enrique Hanot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryan Barron, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Arrows Academy FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Billie Rothery fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ged Nightingale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Estebe went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Larry Ferrell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enrique Hanot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Enekoitz in the 51st minute of the match. Enrique Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Ferrell in the 52nd minute of play. Ged Nightingale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billie Rothery in the 54th minute of play. Arrows Academy FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
