The corner was taken by Gustavo Tartalo in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, KINGS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Tartalo came free, but Leal Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KINGS FC's Leal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Venceslao in the 23rd minute of play. Zézinho Neiva hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, KINGS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Venceslao came free, but Leal Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zoltán Tálas to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, KINGS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Valadão to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Zoltán Tálas could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Dan Wennerqvist however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 56 minutes, Paulo Valadão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KINGS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Valadão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino was substituted for Amador Venceslao. Leal Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Lano in the 61st minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Hernan Lano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Leal Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KINGS FC made a substitution. Cássio Calçada replaced Jānis Blūms. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Necula in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leal Simões saved KINGS FC from getting behind. Leal Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Godofredo Quilino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leal Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Leal Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Quilino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
