The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Bevilacqua got free with Arnoud de Pelsmakere in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SPALLETTE RETURNS were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Cougars FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Bevilacqua took the corner. Ciro Immobile made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Augusto Bevilacqua. Karel Šnajdr hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Cosimo Laudadio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere. Arnoud de Pelsmakere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute of the game Ciro Immobile made a throw-in which Adriano Biagetti played forward. In the 36th minute Augusto Bevilacqua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosimo Laudadio was the one to do the kick off. Marco Silvestri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Cougars FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Angel Morales hit a great ball. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Laudadio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 72nd minute of play forced SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper Marco Silvestri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cougars FC booed when SPALLETTE RETURNS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Pellegrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cougars FC made a substitution. Gerardo Nesto replaced Angel Morales. Cougars FC's Steffen Gimlinge was substituted for Mehat Kovaçi. With an all-out effort, Cougars FC's Marco Silvestri threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gerardo Nesto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 84 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Nero came free, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Augusto Bevilacqua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoud de Pelsmakere. Cougars FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Bevilacqua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Bevilacqua in the 88th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Augusto Bevilacqua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Augusto Bevilacqua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoud de Pelsmakere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Nero in the 96th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SPALLETTE RETURNS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cougars FC for a fine match.
