Laércio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolgahan Onatkan in the 25th minute of the match. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertrand Hatun in the 26th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Thomás Meder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio Trigo made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jens-Ove Malm sent off a good shot on target. After 43 minutes, Thomás Meder made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Malm to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jens-Ove Malm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laércio Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 53rd minute of play. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás Meder in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertrand Hatun got free with Amauri Félix in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laércio Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Meder came free, but Amauri Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Meder in the 61st minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laércio Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Delassus came free, but Amauri Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fabrício Vergílio fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's protests and gave Fabrício Vergílio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Fabrício Vergílio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ made a substitution. Birol Celilay replaced Lauro Arce.
