In the 20th minute Cartero de Agronomia F.C. were awarded a corner. Evaristo Errando went to the cornerflag to take it. Adrian Clis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Miro in the 21st minute of the match. Cartero de Agronomia F.C. were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Imperio Académico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evaristo Errando took the corner. After taking down the ball on Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s corner David Belasko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adrian Clis quite easily take care of the ball. Adrian Clis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Miro in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Imperio Académico booed when Cartero de Agronomia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Rumaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismael Jerrold to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Basajaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Jerrold in the 50th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fabricio Miro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Clis was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 72nd minute of the match Cartero de Agronomia F.C. got a corner. Imperio Académico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evaristo Errando ran over to the corner to take the kick. David Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Igon in the 84th minute of play forced Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Basajaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Basajaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Igon in the 89th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
