The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Cachorro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 6th minute of play forced Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper Eloy Mazuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Linus Fredriksson sped through Tigres Ñacuñán FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eloy Mazuste. Epifanio Errando kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Eloy Mazuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Linus Fredriksson in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Mazuste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eloy Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aybek Orcun, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th match minute, Tigres Ñacuñán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daníel Pálmason to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Mazuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Arixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Mazuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Arixo in the 38th minute of play. Linus Fredriksson took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Mazuste. Eloy Mazuste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

With a little luck, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste got control of the ball when Fermin Arixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute Christian Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste got control of the ball when Fermin Arixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Tigres Ñacuñán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Stephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Marlin FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
