Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Carlo Crema replaced Venancio Emesto. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Bilintx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alphonso Davies during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when Sporting de Gijón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonso Davies didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ixona Mascarañas kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Tolgahan Onatkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
