The Marlin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Carlos Alvarez should have stopped the shot. Jeronimo Sotil made in the 7th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fermin Arixo immediately put the ball in play. Flavio Pirro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Billy Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Drake in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Panpili got free with Flavio Pirro in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Billy Drake recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Fredriksson in the 28th minute of play forced Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Flavio Pirro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerd Treial kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Billy Drake notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez. Juan Carlos Alvarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Billy Drake was the one to do the kick off. Flavio Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Rana in the 52nd minute of play. Juan Carlos Alvarez was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Billy Drake capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Billy Drake really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 59 minutes into the game, Giovanni Rana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Flavio Pirro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fermin Arixo scored 3-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Pirro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brown Puerto Madryn's Ladislao Salvidor was substituted for Gerd Treial. Flavio Pirro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 79th minute of the match. Ladislao Salvidor struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brown Puerto Madryn. Flavio Pirro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Arixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Brown Puerto Madryn's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Panpili came free, but Flavio Pirro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Linus Fredriksson in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Pirro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Marlin FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Marlin FC's Linus Fredriksson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Brown Puerto Madryn's Aurelio Blanco got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Brown Puerto Madryn booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Oidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Marlin FC from getting a goal against them. Brown Puerto Madryn succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Marlin FC had controlled the match.
