When Martin Mutumba came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Vykans Vikingar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Mutumba couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Amir Lee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Revis in the 16th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dario Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allen Dalton in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Vykans Vikingar were awarded a corner. Jose Indalecio went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 29th minute Martin Mutumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Cascade Park West's Amir Lee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Ekrot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Waldo Renteria came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Lee, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Arne Haglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Wilhelm was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Piotr Brzakala got a free kick in the 45th minute. A long shot from Jose Indalecio in the 46th minute of play was well struck, but Dario Wilhelm made a really good save at the right post. In the 47th minute of the match Vykans Vikingar got a corner. Cascade Park West's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jose Indalecio ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 47th minute, Abdi Revis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Dario Wilhelm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Arne Haglund's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Martin Mutumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Waldo Renteria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cascade Park West's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vykans Vikingar the free kick. Waldo Renteria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Ekrot having to make a save. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Indalecio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Bengt-Arne Haglund made a precise shot to the right of Dario Wilhelm. Cascade Park West's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Bengt-Arne Haglund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vykans Vikingar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Waldo Renteria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Ekrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Claude Joyner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cascade Park West's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vykans Vikingar the free kick. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Cascade Park West was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Joyner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Wilhelm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Cascade Park West's Wang Sha Qian was substituted for Waldo Renteria. In the 83rd minute Vykans Vikingar were awarded a corner. Jose Indalecio went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jose Indalecio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dario Wilhelm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 83 minutes, Abdi Revis made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the game, Vykans Vikingar's Christoffer Johansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Wilhelm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Vykans Vikingar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
