Fagildo Pamanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bolo Bolaño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Paulo Romero having to make a save. Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 22nd minute of the match. Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 25th minute of play. Luís Paulo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Kemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Aquiles Cordero hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Cido de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flying Dutch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Paulo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Kemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Flying Dutch's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aquiles Cordero took the corner. In the 65th minute, Alexsandro Tróia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flying Dutch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. With a little luck, Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero got control of the ball when Bolo Bolaño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Consejo del Mate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aquiles Cordero in the 73rd minute. When Bolo Bolaño came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Consejo del Mate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bolo Bolaño couldn't finish the play.
