Vykans Vikingar's Mats Hermansson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luís Paulo Romero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 4 minutes into the game, Mats Hermansson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Paulo Romero. Mats Hermansson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Tróia in the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Mats Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vykans Vikingar's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulo Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Trancoso. Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mutumba in the 16th minute of the match. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido de Medeiros in the 18th minute of play. Vykans Vikingar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernan Berart in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Martin Mutumba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Paulo Romero was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. A well done corner resulted in Simon Brolin drilling the ball in to score 3-0 behind Flying Dutch's goalkeeper. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Xacintu to make the kick off. Jose Indalecio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Cido de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Marcus Ekrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexsandro Tróia. After 69 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Jose Indalecio. Luís Paulo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Revis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Paulo Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdi Revis went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Vykans Vikingar's zone, Cido de Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal and Cido de Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Leonardo Trancoso hit a great ball. Alexsandro Tróia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcus Ekrot firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alexsandro Tróia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Marcus Ekrot skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 92nd minute of the match, Cido de Medeiros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcus Ekrot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 96 minutes into the match, Flying Dutch's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Revis came free, but Luís Paulo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flying Dutch's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
