David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Baggio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilson Peres was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in ITAFUT 4EVER's zone, Aníbal Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Peres came out of the goal and Aníbal Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Barycz in the 33rd minute of play. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Barycz in the 35th minute of play. Nilson Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Cunha in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. João Vítor Porto hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Durval Nascimento. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ryszard Barycz was the one to do the kick off. If Raphael Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Barycz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Nilson Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Arsenio Gipuzkoa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres did a great save. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Porto in the 63rd minute of play. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Porto in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Jardel Baggio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Seaman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. ITAFUT 4EVER's Boguslaw Tarasek was substituted for Ryszard Barycz. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Jenipapo SC from getting a goal against them. ITAFUT 4EVER's Boguslaw Tarasek was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Boguslaw Tarasek might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Seaman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boguslaw Tarasek ran back to his position shaking his head. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Evelio Rico replaced Flavius Postelnicescu. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Jenipapo SC from getting a goal against them. Rodriguinho Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute of the match, Boguslaw Tarasek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Seaman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 89 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Porto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Tarasek in the 93rd minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes of play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Rodriguinho Linhares made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Seaman was left in no man's land by his defense there!
