Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Fernandez in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Fernandez in the 10th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Arthur Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. François-Xavier Dionnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Raymundo in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Basilio Fernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur Amorim was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Niceto Xacintu scored 3-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of François-Xavier Dionnet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Many of Ruquense FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ruquense FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Flying Dutch were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
