Osvaldo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Sandalio in the 4th minute of the match. Edmond Verdun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hortêncio Mandrak in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Sandalio came free, but Osvaldo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Sandalio in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Gines in the 13th minute of play. Errecaborda AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pastor Ado in the 15th minute. Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Osvaldo Neto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidro Gines in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Neto saved EDI MZB from getting behind. Errecaborda AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pastor Ado in the 18th minute. After taking down the ball on Errecaborda AFC's corner Manuel Theobald fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Osvaldo Neto quite easily take care of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Pastor Ado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hortêncio Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmond Verdun made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ma Lang Liang sent off a good shot on target. Osvaldo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Sandalio in the 25th minute of play. The EDI MZB fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when EDI MZB's Hortêncio Mandrak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st minute Victorino Sandalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Ado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Isidro Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Jerardo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Osvaldo Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Errecaborda AFC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hortêncio Mandrak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victorino Sandalio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Osvaldo Neto came out and tried to block the shot, but Victorino Sandalio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 60th minute. Ma Lang Liang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Ma Lang Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Gines in the 77th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Osvaldo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Jerardo scored 1-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dennis Roelfs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Hipolito Neron replaced Miguel Savion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Lang Liang in the 83rd minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Osvaldo Neto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hipolito Neron hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
