Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos in the 10th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Serafin Bernal was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Talleres de Escalada through an amazing save. A nice corner shot did that Faustino Lehoi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serafin Bernal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Miran Moco scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Frasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miran Moco kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Ezequiel Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Frasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Talleres de Escalada got a corner. Barrialito AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thibault Moon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ezequiel Monico took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Frasco. Felix Frasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Bernal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Miran Moco came free, but Felix Frasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Thibault Moon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Frasco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Barrialito AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Talleres de Escalada were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fang Lang Mo to make the kick off.
