An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Teofilio in the 17th minute of play forced Vaqueteros FC's goalkeeper Javier Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Enzo Fernández had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Bologna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tosun Paşa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Tosun Paşa scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Bologna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Masters United F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Rafe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Tono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Masters United F.C.'s Anselmo Ted got a free kick in the 47th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tosun Paşa made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Celso Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Martin Istad in the 54th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Fikret Uluğ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
