Per-Olof Vallmark was slow to take the kick. During this time Vikingos FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Per-Olof Vallmark got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Darrel Pennington quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göksel Taşdan in the 29th minute of play. Puianello FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Francesco Coscia in the 31st minute. A nice corner shot did that Göksel Taşdan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastián Sosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Vladimiro Lauro put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Darrel Pennington. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Mazzone in the 42nd minute of play. Sebastián Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Mazzone, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Darrel Pennington made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Vladimiro Lauro sent off a good shot on target. Antonello De Feo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göksel Taşdan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Carlo Mazzone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darrel Pennington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Torm in the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vikingos FC's zone, Göksel Taşdan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastián Sosa came out of the goal and Göksel Taşdan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Göksel Taşdan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastián Sosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Göksel Taşdan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 58th minute. Darrel Pennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Abaurre in the 65th minute of play. Marek Torm kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Göksel Taşdan in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Sosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Puianello FC's Göksel Taşdan in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vikingos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Puianello FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Francesco Coscia made a great header on Puianello FC's corner, it was just that Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa managed to reach the ball for a save. When Göksel Taşdan came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Puianello FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göksel Taşdan couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa got control of the ball when Göksel Taşdan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Puianello FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
