Baxters Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vambola Probach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Edmund Olsman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of JFSP's Thibault Mamardashvili. Thibault Mamardashvili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, JFSP's goalkeeper Thibault Mamardashvili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olov Tham. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Neiva in the 34th minute of play forced Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Jan Moberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Baxters Boys booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vambola Probach didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes Baxters Boys got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Olsman. Thibault Mamardashvili made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Olov Tham sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olov Tham got free with Thibault Mamardashvili in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. JFSP's Thibault Mamardashvili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Palm in the 45th minute of play. Thibault Mamardashvili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Palm in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

JFSP's Thibault Mamardashvili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Tham in the 53rd minute of play. August Palm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thibault Mamardashvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Tham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmund Olsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Thibault Mamardashvili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. JFSP made a substitution. Ismael Velloso replaced Pedro Paulo Peixoto. JFSP's Hermínio Meirelles was substituted for Gláuber Fonseca. Olov Tham scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thibault Mamardashvili, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baxters Boys's Alexander Klint was substituted for Johan Dalström. Olov Tham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibault Mamardashvili having to interfere. Jan Moberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Tham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evert Lindström charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert Lindström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of JFSP booed when Baxters Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes Baxters Boys got a freekick which was hit by Olov Tham.

JFSP's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
