The supporters of AFC Viola Gigliati booed when Aversa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Troiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, AFC Viola Gigliati's Guillermo Barzana got a free kick in the 7th minute. Samuel Horduña's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Dave Bassani skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Viola Gigliati's Ilazki Esquivel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dave Bassani. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. After 13 played minutes AFC Viola Gigliati got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Horduña. Aversa's Alessio Troiani got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Barzana charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Barzana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Aversa booed when AFC Viola Gigliati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Barzana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Min Ordoña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Carrea in the 20th minute of the match. When Bruno Carrea came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Aversa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Carrea couldn't finish the play. Arrigo De Simone charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arrigo De Simone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aversa getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Arrigo De Simone hit a great ball. Etxahun Domao lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of AFC Viola Gigliati:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aversa:s goal. Min Ordoña had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Arrigo De Simone's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 1-1 came in the 34th minute when Arrigo De Simone all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Min Ordoña. 37 minutes into the match, AFC Viola Gigliati's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Troiani came free, but Min Ordoña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Damiano De Zorzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, AFC Viola Gigliati's Elorri Palmer got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Alessio Troiani made a precise shot to the right of Min Ordoña. AFC Viola Gigliati's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half Aversa were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Horduña to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the AFC Viola Gigliati defense, Bruno Carrea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Min Ordoña. The AFC Viola Gigliati fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Min Ordoña should have stopped the shot. Bruno Carrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Min Ordoña made a huge save. AFC Viola Gigliati's Min Ordoña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Carrea in the 62nd minute of play. Damiano De Zorzi struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Min Ordoña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aversa. Aversa's Dave Bassani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garin Candina in the 66th minute of play. Garin Candina scored 2-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave Bassani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AFC Viola Gigliati made a substitution. Frutos Sator replaced Elorri Palmer. AFC Viola Gigliati's Santio Marco was substituted for Breogan Tio. Garin Candina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frutos Sator during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The AFC Viola Gigliati fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aversa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
