The Northmen Army's Emil Hafström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Simutenkov in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, The Northmen Army's goal looked a bit too open when Ilya Kabanov came free, but Emil Hafström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Lundberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albert Aldonin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jack Lundberg ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ilya Kabanov came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Dynamite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilya Kabanov couldn't finish the play. Albert Aldonin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Lindqvist in the 33rd minute of play. Albert Aldonin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pål Wiklund's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When Ivan Koshevoy fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dynamite's protests and gave Ivan Koshevoy a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dynamite's Ivan Koshevoy got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Marcus Mjølner sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dynamite's Albert Aldonin didn't even have to move. Albert Aldonin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Lundberg in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Dynamite's Anton Baranov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Hafström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konstantin Simutenkov to strike the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Dynamite's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Mjølner came free, but Albert Aldonin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Dynamite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitaliy Luzhnikov to maneuver through the defense. The Northmen Army made a substitution. Hugo Holmberg replaced Vilhelm Mjølner. The Northmen Army's Alex Lidberg was substituted for Stig Lindqvist. After 67 played minutes Dynamite got a freekick which was hit by Vitaliy Luzhnikov. If Hugo Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilya Kabanov in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Hafström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute Dynamite were awarded a corner. Eduard Simanovskiy went to the cornerflag to take it. Dynamite's Eduard Simanovskiy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emil Hafström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 75 minutes into the game, The Northmen Army's Hugo Holmberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albert Aldonin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Kent Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Albert Aldonin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dynamite's Ilya Kabanov got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 86 played minutes Dynamite got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Savin. Albert Aldonin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Dahlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Albert Aldonin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Holmberg in the 91st minute of the match. The score was 2-2 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.
With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Hugo Holmberg in The Northmen Army was the one to initiate the kick off. After 100 minutes, Hugo Holmberg made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Dynamite's Albert Aldonin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
