Dedé Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Jacques charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Jacques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Jacques didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Cauan Paiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper German Whitley came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Andes FC - FSCMZ reached it. German Whitley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilvan Sabóia got free with German Whitley in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Recolta Alamor's Bill Wiggins got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dedé Brodel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but German Whitley made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Felix Yoder got a free kick in the 37th minute. German Whitley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilvan Sabóia went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilvan Sabóia got free with German Whitley in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claude Vilter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Zeca Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Edvaldo Pinho was substituted for Hélder Madureira. Danilo Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Jacques. Cauan Paiva struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. German Whitley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Andes FC - FSCMZ. Genílson Carvalho hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. German Whitley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. German Whitley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Carvalho in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Arce in the 90th minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper German Whitley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Los Andes FC - FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Recolta Alamor for a fine match.
