The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dragoş Pacuraru kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Gheorghe Dragalina kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Glauco Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mircea Avacariței was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 9th minute Andrei Nicola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Bratoloveanu got free with Lauro Linhares in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Lauro Linhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, FC Urzicuța's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Ramos came free, but Mircea Avacariței reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Eliézer Ramos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mircea Avacariței quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. CE LAJEADENSE RS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oséas Miranda in the 20th minute. After taking down the ball on CE LAJEADENSE RS's corner Eliézer Ramos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mircea Avacariței quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glauco Paranaense in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Avacariței prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Nicola in the 24th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Lauro Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauro Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Nicola in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Urzicuța's Sandu Baltian got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Eliézer Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mircea Avacariței was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Glauco Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Natanael Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Glauco Paranaense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mircea Avacariței made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nik Nicola to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Nicola in the 55th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Lauro Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Eliézer Ramos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mircea Avacariței, 0-4. Sandu Baltian kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Tudor Bratoloveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glauco Paranaense in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mircea Avacariței, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Eliézer Ramos got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mircea Avacariței showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Mircea Avacariței was a little too slow when Glauco Paranaense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-6.

CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
