The referee gave Cable a Tierra a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baltasar Gaitan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brasiliense FC's Abel Ortiz. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Juarês Quirino got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Wilson Paulista fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Abel Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Lizzio's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Pablo Lizzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cable a Tierra's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Lizzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Wilson Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th match minute, Brasiliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Lopez to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when Brasiliense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio Furtado hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Baldomero Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cable a Tierra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wágner Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Abel Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Lizzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cable a Tierra's Vinicio Gerazan got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juarês Quirino hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Pablo Lizzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cable a Tierra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Lizzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Brasiliense FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cable a Tierra were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Adalberto Donato made the kick off in the second half. Generoso Tavio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th match minute, Brasiliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Quirino to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match, Baltasar Gaitan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abel Ortiz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 76th minute, Juarês Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cable a Tierra made a substitution. Maximino Timo replaced Reynaldo Lauren. After 77 played minutes Brasiliense FC got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Quirino. In the 79th minute, Vinicio Gerazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abel Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Lizzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Lizzio in the 93rd minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Abel Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cable a Tierra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
