After 5 minutes, Severo Labora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Made in Paraguay and the Sajones F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Made in Paraguay's Severo Labora got a free kick in the 5th minute. Modesto Farto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Gonzales in the 11th minute of the match. Evaristo Mendialdura received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Quinten came out and tried to block the shot, but Evaristo Mendialdura slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Modesto Farto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Gonzales in the 15th minute of play. Sajones F.C. were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Made in Paraguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serafino Jerano took the corner. 22 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Acevedo came free, but Modesto Farto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nahia Gago in the 29th minute of the match. If Lopez Nieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Acevedo's late challenge caught a Made in Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Acevedo helped the player get up and apologised. Camilo Acevedo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Marciano Cantero hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nahia Gago in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Quinten saved Sajones F.C. from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Jacob Sagasti put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Made in Paraguay getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jacob Sagasti hit a great ball. After 39 played minutes, Sajones F.C.'s Serafino Jerano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Modesto Farto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sajones F.C. reached it. Julio Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nahia Gago, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camilo Acevedo made a kick off. Martxelin Beilzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Made in Paraguay's Severo Labora suffered a concussion after 55 minutes and had to leave the field. When Silvio Orkatz fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sajones F.C.'s protests and gave Silvio Orkatz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Silvio Orkatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sajones F.C. made a substitution. Carolo Brais replaced Marciano Cantero. After a rather tough play, Sajones F.C.'s Silvio Orkatz got a free kick in the 57th minute. Made in Paraguay's Modesto Farto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Made in Paraguay from getting a goal against them. After 62 minutes Made in Paraguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafino Jerano who took care of the corner kick. Sajones F.C.'s Silvio Orkatz got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Mendialdura came free, but Julio Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Farto made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Camilo Acevedo sent off a good shot on target. Modesto Farto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Gonzales went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sajones F.C. made a substitution. Leonides Ordono replaced Mateo Libertad. Sajones F.C.'s Nunez Quinteros was substituted for Camilo Acevedo. After 83 played minutes Made in Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Villagra. In the 85th minute of the match, Nunez Quinteros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Modesto Farto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nunez Quinteros in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Farto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Modesto Farto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Quinteros in the 87th minute. Evaristo Mendialdura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Quinteros got free with Modesto Farto in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Nunez Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Farto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Evaristo Mendialdura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 1-1. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Martxelin Beilzo made the kick off and play began. Julio Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Mendialdura in the 101st minute of the match. Nunez Quinteros struck a weak shot in the 103rd minute. Modesto Farto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sajones F.C.. Evaristo Mendialdura kicked well hit freekick during the 106th minute of the match. Evaristo Mendialdura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 113th minute. Julio Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sajones F.C.'s Julio Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nahia Gago in the 114th minute of play. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 1-1. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

Modesto Farto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 119 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's goalkeeper Modesto Farto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Orkatz. Modesto Farto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 122nd minute. 123 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's Evaristo Mendialdura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Quinten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Martxelin Beilzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 125th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 127 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Gonzales came free, but Modesto Farto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martxelin Beilzo in the 129th minute of the match. The supporters of Made in Paraguay booed when Sajones F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 131 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Arnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither team seemed willing to take risks during extra-time and the defenses won out. The match would now go to a penalty shoot-out.

The referee gave Sajones F.C. a penalty, 137 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Julio Quinten, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Made in Paraguay's Modesto Farto. 1-3. In the 139th minute there was a penalty for Made in Paraguay. Cresencio Felpeto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julio Quinten. 2-3. The goalkeeper, Julio Quinten, was totally fooled by Made in Paraguay's Iztal Autran, who 142 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A hard and well directed shot from German Arnas led 146 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Made in Paraguay's Modesto Farto became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 4-6. The Sajones F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sajones F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
