Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dacian Fetea to make the kick off. Reinaldo Queiroz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. With a little luck, Várzea F.C.'s Reinaldo Queiroz got control of the ball when Cristinel Gheorghiță tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Maxim Văduvescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BlueLionesse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Várzea F.C. the free kick. In the 68th minute Alessandro Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Jdeica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Várzea F.C.'s Reinaldo Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Várzea F.C. from getting a goal against them. During the 76th minute of the match Maxim Văduvescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. With an all-out effort, BlueLionesse's Reinaldo Queiroz threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dacian Fetea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
