But to his dismay, Ernesto Melone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. When Omar Catalán came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Sportivo Luan Toro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Catalán couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Omar Catalán reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Goodwill-Yoosuk Simon Sabio. The goal made the score 4-4. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Muhammad Ali to make the kick off. In the last second Goodwill-Yoosuk Simon Sabio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Muhammad Ali in the 122ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Muhammad Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 124th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
