Leon Wysocki kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 3-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Rafal Poniewaz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of KS Ruch Chorzów booed when Varsovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Cholewa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Olgierd Kojder took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Boleslaw Chlapowski to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Poniewaz in the 68th minute of play forced Varsovia's goalkeeper Leonard Wasikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Ruch Chorzów's Gilbert Kissel got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Witalis Kieca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Varsovia getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Olgierd Kojder hit a great ball. Leonard Wasikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Kornatowski in the 79th minute of the match. The Varsovia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonard Wasikowski should have stopped the shot.

KS Ruch Chorzów's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
