La Gallardeta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Casimiro Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Mendonça in the 10th minute of the match. La Gallardeta's Casimiro Erramun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Eger in the 12th minute of play. Casimiro Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Mendonça in the 22nd minute of the match. Ruben Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Horácio Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdo Catarinense was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Felipe Flores capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Flores really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mateus Salgado's late challenge caught a La Gallardeta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateus Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. Paulo Romelio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Reinaldo Marquez hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when SORRISO E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. SORRISO E. C.'s Valdo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Flores in the 75th minute of play. Paulo Romelio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Felipe Flores got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Mendonça got free with Casimiro Erramun in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Orlando Hori fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Gallardeta's protests and gave Orlando Hori a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Hori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Casimiro Erramun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The La Gallardeta players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
