In the 12th minute of the match Pajala Sunrise got a corner. FC Old Dogs United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Lindman ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by 王 江志锋 in the 16th minute of play forced FC Old Dogs United's goalkeeper Borimir Karadzhov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, FC Old Dogs United's goal looked a bit too open when 王 江志锋 came free, but Borimir Karadzhov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yane Donkovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cholachat Coolcat having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Yane Donkovski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cholachat Coolcat was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Doug Las Casas put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Borimir Karadzhov. Pajala Sunrise's 王 江志锋 got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Pajala Sunrise were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yane Donkovski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Totyo Brandiyski hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes, Mathias Nässén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pajala Sunrise and the FC Old Dogs United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mathias Nässén kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 王 江志锋 in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Old Dogs United's goalkeeper Borimir Karadzhov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pajala Sunrise's Johannes Friberger was substituted for 王 江志锋. 72 minutes into the game, one of Pajala Sunrise:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Johannes Friberger took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borimir Karadzhov. Borimir Karadzhov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Borimir Karadzhov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Friberger in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, FC Old Dogs United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslav Palikarski to maneuver through the defense. Borimir Karadzhov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Heggert in the 84th minute. FC Old Dogs United's Borimir Karadzhov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Friberger in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Old Dogs United's goalkeeper Borimir Karadzhov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute of the match Pajala Sunrise got a corner. FC Old Dogs United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. When the match was over Pajala Sunrise could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Old Dogs United throughout the match.
