After 8 played minutes CheR FC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Leoncio. With his leg Santiago Diagur managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Oiteiras's João de Carvalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edu Prado hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 20 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Barral. After 22 played minutes CheR FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Bento. Santiago Diagur was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edu Prado. In the 24th minute, Ladislao Leoncio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Oiteiras booed when CheR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Rafe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If João de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, CheR FC's Camilo Lizer got a free kick in the 33rd minute. João de Carvalho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 36th playminute. 38 minutes into the match, Nando Oliveira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CheR FC's Santiago Diagur. Santiago Diagur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Oiteiras getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nilson de Senna hit a great ball. Arnaldo Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Erauso in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João de Carvalho made a kick off. Santiago Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Oliveira in the 52nd minute of play. In the 58th minute, Nando Oliveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Diagur was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to CheR FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Norberto Erauso hit a great ball. Oiteiras made a substitution. Sebastião Meireles replaced Sidnei Dante. In the 62nd match minute, CheR FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Erauso to maneuver through the defense. After 63 minutes of play, Oiteiras's Nando Oliveira made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Diagur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Duda Capixaba might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Diagur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duda Capixaba ran back to his position shaking his head. CheR FC's Ceferino Anaya was substituted for Ramon Foro. Santiago Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Oliveira in the 69th minute of play. Santiago Diagur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Camilo Lizer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Arnaldo Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CheR FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
