Antônio Aguiar's late challenge caught a PREZULO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antônio Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when Inazuma Japan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th match minute, PREZULO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Fabrício Félix scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Serafim Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inazuma Japan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PREZULO FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Inazuma Japan's Serafim Moreira got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Antônio Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Aguiar in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Inazuma Japan were awarded a corner. Hortêncio Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Inazuma Japan's corner Hortêncio Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dida Brasil quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Inazuma Japan booed when PREZULO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes PREZULO FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hortêncio Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. 34 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Aguiar came free, but Dida Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gino Bezerra fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inazuma Japan's protests and gave Gino Bezerra a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Inazuma Japan's Gino Bezerra got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 39 minutes of play, PREZULO FC's Valdir Ferraz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luiz Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, César Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. PREZULO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but César Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Miguel Chaves 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Antônio Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Inazuma Japan's Dida Brasil threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antônio Aguiar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 52 minutes into the match, Antônio Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dida Brasil. PREZULO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Hortêncio Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Dida Brasil made a huge save. Dida Brasil was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Fabrício Félix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabrício Félix really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Pedro Luiz Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Chaves in the 65th minute of play. César Cruz hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Dida Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hortêncio Montenegro. After 87 played minutes PREZULO FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Chaves. PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save PREZULO FC from getting a goal against them.
