After 94 minutes, Grigore Hulubei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Buzău and the White Star Troopers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Buzău's Grigore Hulubei got a free kick in the 96th minute. The score was 2-2 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.
