Spectators: 619 (Terracing: 465, Seating: 142, VIP seats: 12) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Denílson Tepedino took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Pan Zhi Peng. In the 5th minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Tales De Mileto got a free kick in the 9th minute. Denílson Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomás Toscano came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by ADM Taquaras's Denílson Tepedino. But to his dismay, Denílson Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 31 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Soeiro. In the 32nd minute, Nestor Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Capibaribe Stars got a corner. ADM Taquaras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilton Fontes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Wilton Fontes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno did a great save. Daniel Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Sousa was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Sousa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 63rd playminute. 67 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Sousa came free, but Jeremias Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Albino Gaskon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Áron Bódog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score was 2-2 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Áron Bódog in ADM Taquaras was the one to initiate the kick off. When Daniel Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 102nd minute, the Capibaribe Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Sousa couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Sousa's shot from short distance in the 106th minute. Thomás Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 108th minute of play.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Daniel Sousa did a quick kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Áron Bódog in the 120th minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 122nd minute of play. Thomás Toscano came out of the goal in the 130th minute to try and stop a shot by ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog. But to his dismay, Áron Bódog quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. ADM Taquaras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
