Dito Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Botello in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Josué Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dito Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Craandijk in the 11th minute of play. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13thth minute of the game Josué Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josué Paiva's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Davide Lucchetti hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, FFC Merainies 03's Ksawery Gongola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dito Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Leon Craandijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Botello kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Gaufred came free, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Alvin Thedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 46th minute, Álvaro Gaspar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oskar Törnblom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Leon Craandijk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Álvaro Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Thedin got free with Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FFC Merainies 03 from getting a goal against them. VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Törnblom in the 62nd minute of play. Dito Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Craandijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Álvaro Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Otávio Netto put in a rough tackle. Josué Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patxi Palenzuela in the 89th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes VARGINHA FC got a freekick which was hit by Davide Lucchetti. Benito Gaufred kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.

There was no doubt that FFC Merainies 03 were the better team. FFC Merainies 03's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
