Bobbi Sagi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Mavrodin in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Macaco F.C.'s Ioan Mavrodin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bobbi Sagi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Injuries booed when Macaco F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stasio Wisniewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Injuries defense, Ioan Mavrodin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bobbi Sagi. The Injuries fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bobbi Sagi should have stopped the shot. Mads Aarum's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Jorge Campos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 14th minute, Injuries's Mads Aarum ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Campos. Jorge Campos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The corner ended in Runar Flou almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos did a great save. 25 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Campos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mads Aarum. 27 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Runar Flou came free, but Jorge Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Injuries got a corner. Macaco F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Muhammad Schiffmann ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Runar Flou almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Runar Flou in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Campos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mads Aarum in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Campos saved Macaco F.C. from getting behind. Jorge Campos was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Mads Aarum capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mads Aarum really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. When Injuries's Runar Flou in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macaco F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 42nd minute Hermínio Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobbi Sagi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wolfgang Thøstrup couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Macaco F.C.'s Akis Remoundos got a free kick in the 95th minute.
Macaco F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
